Blended Learning Universitas Pembangunan Jaya

Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ) is a private university in the Bintaro Jaya district of Jakarta, founded and supported by the Pembangunan Jaya Business Group in 2011. The Pembangunan Jaya is a business group consisting of 17 companies engaged in property, manufacturing, management consultancy, design consultancy, contractors, tourist / recreational, trade, mechanical and electrical engineering and education.
With more than ten years of successful primary and secondary education management, UPJ is taking the initiative to set up a higher education institution, Universitas Pembangunan Jaya. In 2011, UPJ obtained an operating license under the motto "Integrity, Professionalism, and Entrepreneurship" to be a learning place in which people acquire knowledge and develop themselves into individuals with integrity, professionalism, creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial mindset.

In 2020, becoming an outstanding Information System Department that excels in developing science in the area of informatics system and informatics technology in the urban lifestyle and urban development aspects. It also nurtures Manusia Jaya as lifelong learners who are dignified, open minded, highly competitive, environmentally-conscious and eager to be social well-being initiators.

Mission of Information System Department Universitas Pembangunan Jaya

  1. To professionally apply the Tri Dharma (education, research and community service) and follow its principles.
  2. To conduct an excellent education in information system by applying Student Centered Learning (SCL) concept.
  3. To build a research culture in the area of information system and informatics technology that specializes in urban lifestyle and urban development.
  4. To actively participate in valuable research and community service programs for the advancement of sustainable urban well-being.
  5. To shape 'Manusia Jaya' as lifelong learners who are strong in principles and highly competitive through the application of Nilai Jaya and UPJ Academic Core.
